AHA's Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid


This course is for those involved in child care who have a duty to respond to a first aid emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements, such as child care workers, teachers, foster care workers, camp counselors, youth organizations, coaches for
children’s sports organizations, and others.

Course Features
  • Course content based on regulatory requirements for child care workers in all 50 states
  • Includes the most current resuscitation and first aid science from the 2005 American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care
  • Incorporates new educational methods to improve student learning and retention, like the AHA research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW) method of instruction for CPR
  • Course includes Optional Pediatric First Aid topics, specifically to meet the needs of regulatory agencies in some states
  • Student CD-ROM includes several additional pediatric first aid topics, so that facilities can tailor the course to fit their specific needs
