12 Lead EKG Interpretation & Capnography

The 12-Lead EKG Interpretation course is designed to introduce participants to the intricacies of 12-Lead Interpretation. This program emphasizes recognition of the EKG patterns of Ischemia, Injury, and Infarction, assists the student to identify the location of the damage from the EKG tracing, helps determine the extent of the involvement, and explores potential complications associated with infarction sites.

Capnography
“Why Do We Care About the Bad Air” is a program that was created to give students an understanding of the history of capnography, its clinical importance and its application in the pre-hospital setting.  After successful completion of this course, students will have a better understanding of the science of capnography as it relates to ventilation, respiration and perfusion and will be able to determine the difference between normal and abnormal capnograms as they relate to a vast number of clinical conditions.  Not since the invention of the ECG by Willhem Einthoven has one device had the ability to benefit such a wide variety of patients as capnography.
